Utah Camping



If you love the outdoors, you are in for a treat if you decide to go camping in Utah.

It isn’t very hard to find the right spot to camp while visiting Utah. This site is designed to help give you a review of some of the camping hot spots in Utah.

There are various parks and campgrounds throughout the state. There are actually over 7,000 locations to choose from. Utah is home to some famous parks including Bryce Canyon, Zion’s National Park, Dinosaur Land, and Dinosaur National Monument.

You can also find a few different mountain ranges that make any nature lover go nuts. Utah is home to the Wasatch Mountains, Rockies, and the high Uintahs.

If you like to include other activities into your camping like boating, swimming, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, or picnicking, you are in luck. There is a campground available for you for all of these things.

Some of Zion’s most favored campgrounds include Zion Canyon Camp Ground, Zion Ponderosa Resort, and Zion River Resort. These campgrounds offer a variety of amenities to make you stay enjoyable.

If you plan on camping in Bryce Canyon, some of the best loved campgrounds include Ruby’s Inn Campground, Bryce Valley KOA, and King Creek.

There are a few campgrounds near Dinosaur National Park. They include Dinosaur Village, Steinaker State Park Campground, and Red Fleet State Park Campground.

The famous ski area, Park City, also has great summer fun. Some of the campgrounds include Wasatch Mountain State Park and Hidden Haven Campground.

It is important to know that Utah camping in national parks often require a reservation and a fee. National Parks Reservation Service takes care of reservations. The fee per vehicle depends on the park. They are usually between $5-20. Or there could be charge per person.

Depending on the campground that you are visiting, there may be regulations about fires, backpacking, and other activities. Just make sure you read and understand the rules at each park location.

Some other Utah camping locations include Moab, Canyon Reef National Park in Kanab, and Lake Powell. Have fun camping!
